The team also needed to import data into its org charts from various sources, including Excel and CSV files, which wasn’t possible with their legacy solution.

With Organimi, the finance manager could import data from multiple sources and make extensive use of color-coding. “We used color to indicate open positions versus active employees,” he says.

Using custom fields gave the team even more flexibility. “We could add all sorts of additional information, like employee ID numbers,” the finance manager explains.

As the finance team shared their org charts internally, Organimi garnered interest from other teams. “HR has adopted the charts, as has our quality control team,” says the manager. “We’re finding that each team is using Organimi in different ways.”

He’s also happy to learn that Version 7.0 includes even more flexible billing options. “We started with org charts for 250 to 300 employees, and our usage grew quickly from there,” he says. “It’s great that Organimi can scale with us, and even better than the pricing model scales accordingly.”
